2009 Mid Year Update

We have been blessed this year. Paul (me) has been very busy at work for the first half of the year and just recently returned to a normal work schedule. Susan has been holding down the fort and keeping the family running smooth. We are grateful for family, jobs and friends. Just a few notes of what we are up to since my last update.

We got a new dog, she came used as a 10 month old, we re-named her Mollie. She is potty trained and very friendly. here she is with Spencer. Spencer also had a good year in basketball for the school. He played in all the games and was able to score a few points. He had a good summer playing varsity and may have a chance to make that team. Either way he has been fun to watch and is in very good condition.

Lisa came back from school for the summer and is back at Scentsy working. They have been good to her and giving her job back until she returns to BYU-I in the fall. She has been fun to have at home again.

The highlight of our summer has to be a trip to Hawaii. Susan's parents took Me, Susan, Lisa and Spencer to Oahu. We had a great time with the sights, culture, beaches and family on this trip. We felt so fortunate to go on such a nice, needed vacation. We really enjoyed the PCC and all the other activities that we did.
Well as for the rest of the family they all seem to be doing well. Matt and Liz are expecting again and we are so excited to be grandparents again. Matt is still at USU studying engineering. Kelli and Frank are doing well. Kelli will be starting cosmetology end this month. And most of all are the grandchildren. They are the new joy in our lives.

One other event that we were so happy to be a part of was our family reunion near Panguich Lake. We had all of our children and grandchildren there and we all had a great time. My Uncle Rex did the planning and meals so we just had to show up. My Parents and Sisters and their families were also there along with many of my exteneded relitives from the Las Vegas area. We had a good time.

Well that is about it for now. The last of family plans is to send Spencer off to summer camp and then to Nauvoo for EFY. He is very excited for that. He also has his license now. Lisa is getting ready for school to start again. She now has a car and that will make things better for her. I have a work trip comming to Texas. Susan will meet me for one of the weekends and we may go to Galviston . We hope that all goes well. That is about all. May all of you, our friends, be blessed also.
